I just tried 1.9.9 on KDE 3.5.9 and it did not crash
but as I remember, this was not cleanly reproducible even with the old version
... the backtrace is not enough to debug?
as bug #154140 is marked as duplicate, it looks like the restart of kmail is
not the trigerring point
hm, what to do to discover where the devil lies?
