I'm able to reproduce this crash in RC1--same backtrace and everything--but
only if the currently selected message is multipart.
Here's my steps:
Set the message structure viewer to "Show never"
Restart KMail
Select a multipart message
Open settings and click OK
Watch KMail crash
I can avoid crashes if I make sure to have a simple text/plain message selected
before I click OK in the settings dialog.
