When any of the components of kontact (korganizer, akregator, kjots etc.) are
selected the tool bars are spaced much further from the main toolbar. Moving
the components toolbar and allowing it to place itself with the inbuilt
"magnetism" it places itself right next to the main toolbar, however, switching
the view to say, kmail and back again, the toolbars is again back to its usual
distant right end.
