If I have the "Authentication Method" set to GSSAPI, write a mail, get the
error that the mail server does not support this authentication mode and try to
delete the mail from the outbox, it is not possible.
Steps to reproduce:
- install an SMTP server that supports authentication, but not GSSAPI. An
example is the default installation of postfix.
- choose kmail -> Settings -> Configure kmail -> Accounts -> Sending
- Add or modify one, choose Advanced -> Authentication Method = GSSAPI
- Send an email over this account. You get an error message.
- try to delete this mail from the outbox
expected result:
- the mail gets deleted
actual result:
- the mail does not get deleted
