Same problem here with KMail 1.10.0 on KDE 4.1.0 (Debian Sid).
Note that is may not be a KMail bug. I've had this problem also on Akregator
articles dates (but in KMail I still see the problem in my inbox).
Googling around made me thing that its a bug related to an overflow on an epoch
time.
