After using KMail from KDE 4.1 branch for some time, I've noticed a rather
severe regression in ordinary maildir folders.
If the folder contains a lot of email such as 5000, it takes 3-4 seconds to go
to a new email. This makes browsing kde-commits folder very painfull.
It seems likely to be some kind of linear scan algorithm, since a folder I have
with 17000 email takes a little over 10 seconds to go from email to email.
