This would be very nice. I'm using squasfs to store very large maildirs as
compressed files, however when kmail is up for a reindex of those folders it
becomes an IO hog therefore it's a sub-par solution.
Should someone implement this feature the indexing/reindexing of folders should
be taken into account.
