I installed KMail from the repository
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Factory:/Desktop/openSUSE_11.1/,
which version is 1.10.92. The reported KDE is 4.1.87 which seems to be 4.2
after 20090101. This version works OK.
