At home (i386), I have updated from version to version, for years. At work (amd64), I had done a fresh install on a new box in January 2016. The bug appears on both computers (recent addresses work, but not address book). There is no package "libkf5akonadisearch-bin" in Debian stable. It is categorised as "experimental" at: https://packages.debian.org/experimental/libkf5akonadisearch-bin Hence, this does not help me, unfortunately.
