It could be a mere coincidence, but when I restarted akonadi with "restart", sometimes notes failed to show up or only some appeared. Restarting akonadi with "stop", wait few seconds and then "start" it never failed, all notes were present. I guess this probably is a mere coincidence, but maybe it could an useful piece of information.
