Indeed. The Installation tests are only run once because they rely on
information from GPGME which is cached for performance reasons. (So that there
is no process call each time the version of a component is checked in the
code.)

Confirmed but very low priority as the installation tests would basically point
to malicious tinkering with the system or a distribution problem.
