My Android client works, and so does the main PC. But on my laptop the addressbook has been shown empty for a while now. Both run the same version of KDE and Plasma, currently 17.04.3 and 5.10.5. So today I deleted the address book and wanted to create it fresh, which resulted in the same error message “Unable to append mimetype for collection as resourceId”. I found this bug by web-searching for the error message. When I created the resource directly within Akonadiconsole (DAV groupware resource, manually configured), the addressbook was found on the server and I was able to add it.
