SUMMARY
Always when a mail arrives into my Gmail account it appears in three folders:
Inbox, Gmail/Important and Gmail/'All messages'. Reading the mail from one of
the folders doesn't mark it as 'read' in the other two. I would expect all
three messages (it's the same message) would be marked as read. Thunderbird
does this correctly.
