Changes of the language in the composer via settings -> Spellchecker are not
persistent. Upon quitting and relaunching kmail, default settings are active
again.
Similarly, view columns -> total
in the folder list on the left has the effect to show the number of items in
each folder. However, upon quitting and relaunching these figures are not
present anymore.
Older versions of kmail did not have this behavior. Unsure whether these are
purposeful features.
Machine is IBM Thinkpad T43 with 512 M Ram.
