Summary: kmail: No indication shown for Unread Messages in
Collapsed Thread
Product: kmail
Version: unspecified
Platform: Compiled Sources
OS/Version: unspecified
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
Version: (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Devs,
When working with kmail in threaded mode, if the threads are collapsed, you
get no indication in the message list that there are unread messages in the
collapsed thread :-( My sort and aggregation are:
Message Sort Order:
By Date/Time of Most Recent in Subtree
Aggregation:
Standard Mailing List
There should some indication, either by bold, by color or by thread icon,
that the collapsed thread indeed has unread messages so you do not have to
"expand all threads" and hunt up and down the list to find the threads with
unread messages.
View unread is not an option either as it defeats the purpose of being able
to view messages/replies in their proper context within the thread.
