Kmail is my favourite mail agent, I'm using it with disconnected IMAP.
The only problem with it is that it's quite slow. At work I am using
Thunderbird to access the same mailbox, local copies of the emails used with
Thunderbird, too. Thunderbird is however an order of magnitude faster:
synchronising my email tree takes about 20 minutes with Kmail and about 1
minute only with Thuderbird.
Could you please please speed up Kmail disconnected IMAP?
