The 'monthly' groupings causes a lot of problems with message threading and
searching. There should be an option to allow the default behavior where they
aren't grouped by month. I notice that when doing a 'Search' (S) in kmail,
when you search a years worth of emails, and then try to click on the search
results if you aren't currently in the grouping for that month, clicking on the
search results does not pull up the message, as it cannot seem to open the
group for that month.
