I can't reproduce but it happened 3 times by now when I selected text in a
message while reading it, the entire session crashed and I was back in login
screen
thought it was gdm fault so switched to kdm but it happened again.
and as I said, I can't reproduce.
-using compiz with all possible effects :-) .
