Antonio <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #5 from Antonio <antonio noradrenaline net> 2009-08-27 13:53:19 --- I concur, that would be a useful feature. My use case: I need to have whitespace in a signature to properly align text blocks, like one would via a table (which also is missing in KMail's HTML mode). I don't really care if the resulting e-mail is in plain text or HTML. But that signature only displays properly when using plain-text e-mails with a plain-text signature. As soon as HTML formatting is enabled in addition to that signature, of course, the resulting e-mail trims all whitespace, and the alignment is a mess. By the way, maybe there is a way to use plain text signatures with HTML e-mails? Anyway, the addition of a <pre> tag to the rich text editor would remedy this for using HTML e-mails, because I could then simply use all-HTML e-mails.
