Summary: kmail doesn't change password for kaddressbook
                    permanently
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

Version: kmail-4.3.1-165.2 (using KDE 4.3.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

If I want to type name into recipient field in new e-mail composer window AND
password for ldapsearch has been chaged before, then kmail open new pop-up
window and asks me to enter new username and password, which is OK. I enter
these and it works UNTIL next ldapsearch.

So the change is not permanent but is only for immediate search.

To change password I must go to KAddressbook settings > ldaplookup section and
change password there.

Can you fix kmail to change password permanently? I use Kwallet for passwords.
