Amund Sjaavaag <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #6 from Amund Sjaavaag <sjaavaag bigfoot com> 2009-10-12 11:53:59 --- I agree that this is absurd. When any email-user is using the reply action, they think "reply" means "reply to sender". I find it not logic that this auto-detection should apply when you do a standard reply. Wouldn't it be more logic, to let this auto-detection just apply to "Reply to Mailling-list"? As i understand, the situation is like this: 1: There is someone, somewhere, that has experienced a mailing list that behave not correct. 2: This someone somewhere, uses the email-client in an odd way, where it fits well with that "reply" means reply to mailing-list. To satisfy this someone, the workaround is that the developers of Kmail make kmail to work not correct. And the rest of the kmail users are suffering a lot because of this. These users are getting a lot of problems with there coworkers, because they are broadcasting emails to mailing-lists, instead of sending messages to author. And the users are getting problems with friends, and all kind of organisations and people around them, because personal messages to the author, are broadcasted to the mailing-lists. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Kdepim-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
