I've imported my DFN PIK certificate to kleopatra, see:

When I now try to select the certificate from inside KMail it does not work,
see:

>From the normal debug output of either kleopatra or kmail I could not find
anything that would help me in getting this issue solved. Is there some other
log file I could look into?
If not, where inside the code is the part that decides whether I can select a
certificate or not? Then I could add some debug output to track this issue
down.
I've asked this question in #kontact before, and still idle there, if you want
any more input from my side.
