Summary: The same message (identical message id and all) is
downloaded twice (visible as 2 entries) in All emails
folder on disconnected IMAP (gmail.com) sometimes.
                    Race condition?
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.12.2
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

Version: 1.12.2 (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I am using gmail.com account (Disconnected IMAP) for a long time, on kmail.

I upgraded to ubuntu 9.10 (so, new kmail) 3 days ago.

Today it happened, that identical message X is visible as 2 entries in the
messages list.

This message X is visible:
- in inbox (correct)
- in all mail folder (correct)
- in all mail folder once again (the bug)

it is the same message (same msg-id etc).

Perhaps a race condition?

Possible triggers:
 - use quad core CPU
 - click download messages few times
 - while switching between inbox / all emails folders
