I have been unfortunate enough to have to accept IMAP accounts, which appears
not to work well with kmail.
Quite often, kmail simply goes into an eternal blocking state with these
accounts, preventing manual checks from getting new mail. The only thing that
helps is restarting kmail (kontact in my case).
I am currently not very interrested in IMAP, I only use it because I have to,
and my filtering rules moves mails to my local filesystem.
Is there a workaround to prevent kmail from trying to update the folders in the
disfunctional way?
