I can receive messages without problems but I can't send.
I have the same problem as here https://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=55928
I've read it all but I cannot solve it anyway, I'm not sure that the solution
is the same...I've tried to change messages and recipient addresses, but I've
not tried thunderbird jet (as did patrick.hayere).
It might be obvious but I tell you anyway: I can send messages without problems
using the website of my ISP.
The message shown in Kmail is:
Spedizione non riuscita:
smtp.tiscali.it: Socket operation timed out
I've tried to re-set the sending address, that should be smtp.tiscali.it (I've
found that address in my ISP website), but it just can't send messages and pops
up the "smtp.tiscali.it: Socket operation timed out" message everytime.
Let me know what I can do to solve it.
