In my case I'm using a .ics file managed by GCaldaemon (http://gcaldaemon.sourceforge.net/) and monitored by akonadi ical resource. At seemingly random but rather short intervals (about every 10 minutes) a 'Unknown error. (Cannot select this collection)' dialog box pops up, and akonaditray reports 'The file 'file:///path/to/file.ics' was modified while...'
