Kontact was working perfectly with 4.4.0-4. My problems started after updating today to 4.4.0-7, which included soprano-devel-2.4.0.1-1.fc12.i686, and kdepim-4.4.0-5.fc12.i686. I don't see the green arrows reported by Thomas Janssen, but otherwise his report fits my experience.
