Gerhard Gappmeier <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution| |WONTFIX --- Comment #5 from Gerhard Gappmeier <gerhard gappmeier ascolab com> 2010-03-25 13:11:25 --- I could clarify that problem in IRC #kontact. The problem was caused by an underscore in the hostname which is in illegal hostname character. Before it worked anyway, but a change in Qt has made hostname parsing more restrictive and this seems to lead to the problem described above (Kmail sends an EHLO without hostname). Possible workarounds/solutions: 1.) Change your hostname to contain only valid characters. 2.) Override your hostname in KMail SMTP settings with a fake hostname that contains only valid characters. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Kdepim-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
