The name part of your email address will be RFC2047 encoded, because it contains non-latin1 characters. However the RFC2047 encoded string is not properly percent encoded, therefor KUrl::path() in KPIMUtils::decodeMailtoUrl returns only '=' because it interprets the first '?' of '=?utf-8?...' as query separator.
