I imported my backup file into the resource through kaddressbook. When I first installed KDE 4.6 there was a lot of problems due to soprano not being updated, and I believe those issues affects akonadi, I do not know if that has to do with it. And I can not be 100% sure that the file on the server was OK at the time of the update, as I did not check. But I have not had problems in the time I have kept the file in owncloud, since owncloud 1.1 release. When I first installed KDE 4.6, I could not get unline due to a problem with networking, having unknown causes.
