to me it seems to take a little longer until kmail loads and displays mail
folders etc. I wonder whether this should be now that it uses akonadi?
Shouldn't a database based approach be faster?

Expected Results:
Faster load and display of mail folders, even with many mails in them.
OS: Linux (i686) release 3.0.0-12-generic
