Finally, Sudhendu Kumar realized this long-requested feature in this year's GSoC. And as it is based on WebKit, it is not even limited to a small HTML subset as Mailody is (using QTextEdit). Maybe Sudhendu or one of the project lead could write a small post about what has been done and what is left - that'd be awesome.
