In my case my laptop takes longer to get connected so this occurs on a fresh boot as well. Akonadiconsole shows the Mail Dispacher Agent grayed out so I can't close it and open it again. Everything works well if you are connected and choose "File->Work offline" followed by "File->Work online", but if for some reason the connection drops then you're in trouble.
