I'm not sure what you are tying to say in the Steps to Reproduce section.
Can you please describe the exact steps to reproduce this problem.
How did you create your certificate, how are you trying to export it?
This basically works and I can export keys created with kleopatra.
Do you have a username that contains characters that can't be encoded in latin1
encoding? If so please try to export the key in a folder that does not contain
your username in the path.
