Hello Kea users- Kea 2.2.0 has been scheduled for late July (milestone: https://gitlab.isc.org/isc-projects/kea/-/milestones/63#tab-issues). This is your early warning that, with the release of a new stable branch, we will be EOL-ing our oldest current stable branch, Kea 1.8.
After the 1.8 EOL there will still be 2 stable branches suitable for production deployment, Kea 2.0 and Kea 2.2. The Kea release plan is laid out in our Knowledge base article on ISC’s Software Support Policy and Version Numbering here: https://kb.isc.org/docs/aa-00896. If you are running Kea 1.8, it is time to make plans to update now.
