Yes, the lease4 table. All I need it to do is just write the Remote-ID sent 
with the discover to the lease database, just as Client-ID is being written now.

I presume you're asking about DHCPv4, right? It's not possible with the current 
code. You would need to write a hook for that. Depending on how flexible you 
want it to be, that may be anything between easy and very complex.

In v6 you can use a trick that could possibly put remote-id in your database. 
You can treat Remote-ID as a MAC address. If the Remote-ID option is present, 
Kea would extract its content and put it in the hwaddr field of each lease.
