I have tested to set debug level to 45 and up to 65 on ”*” , ”kea-dhcp6” and ”kea-dhcp6.packets” but I can’t see the remote-id in the log. In a tcpdump I can see both option 18 and 37 but I can’t see them in the log. I testing with Kea 1.1 from GitHub This is logged now: 2017-02-01 09:38:28.331 INFO [kea-dhcp6.leases/851] DHCP6_PD_LEASE_RENEW duid=[00:03:00:01:10:62:eb:36:9d:fc], tid=0xc0ed76: lease for prefix 2001:db8:20:100::/56 and iaid=184770717 has been allocated 2017-02-01 09:38:28.331 DEBUG [kea-dhcp6.packets/851] DHCP6_RESPONSE_DATA responding with packet type 7 data is localAddr=[2001:db8:0:1::133]:547 remoteAddr=[2001:db8:0:3502::4]:547 msgtype=7, transid=0xc0ed76 type=00001, len=00010: 00:03:00:01:10:62:eb:36:9d:fc type=00002, len=00014: 00:01:00:01:20:1d:db:60:00:50:56:8c:53:d1 type=00023, len=00032: 2001:db8::2 2001:db8::3 type=00025(IA_PD), len=00041: iaid=184770717, t1=300, t2=300, options: type=00026(IAPREFIX), len=00025: prefix=2001:db8:20:100::/56, preferred-lft=600, valid-lft=600 /Tobbe > Another option you may consider is the forensic logging hook library > logs option 37 if present.
