Hi Roland, another approach you might want to explore is the Kea DHCP-DDNS feature <https://kea.readthedocs.io/en/kea-1.8.2/arm/ddns.html>, so that you can configure Packer to use a FQDN, like ubuntu-server.yourdomain.com, instead of an IP address.
