There are in recent Kea versions KNOWN and UNKNOWN classes and I merged in the development Kea version a change in the DROP class to allow to make it to depend on KNOWN or UNKNOWN (it adds another way to ignore non reserved hosts with guards to subnets and/or pools with a different behavior as queries are dropped vs. no resource can be assigned).
