Hello all,

You can't redefine already defined options in Kea.  So you can't do this:

"option-def": [
 {
        "space": "dhcp6",
        "name": "vendor-opts",
        "code": 17,
        "type": "empty",
      },
]

But you CAN do this:
"option-def": [
 {
        "space": "vendor-4491",
        "name": "vendor-opts",
        "code": 17,
        "type": "empty",
      },
]

because it is not in the "dhcp6" space where option 17 is already defined.

That being said, you don't need to do that.  It won't do anything.
What Marek showed is the correct way.
