Hi Christian,
You can only split pools if there are pools to split.
The subnet and any host reservations in the subnet must be defined on both HA
servers.

Subject: [Kea-users] HA and reservations

Hi,

I'm in the middle of the migration from isc-dhcp to kea. It's going well, but I
still have the following question:

I have 2 kea HA nodes in load-balancing mode. For subnets with dynamic clients
you have to split the pool between the 2 nodes.

But what if you have a subnet that only has clients with reservations and
static IPs and no pool definition at all?

Is there then also the need to divide the subnet in two ranges for both nodes
and if yes, how?

Thanks in advance, Christian
