Dear Kea gurus,

I have a need for a DHCP server design that would
a) take a unique option 82 value(e.g. circuit-ID, and equivalent for
DHCPv6) from the query
b) look it up in a SQL database or similar
c) return the client class to be used for addressing the client in the
correct subnets with the correct options

Have anyone attempted something similar?

I did try to put something together with the SQL CB, but in the end I
think I've arrived at the conclusion that the only way to accomplish
this with Kea is by writing a hook(?). On that topic it would be quite
helpful to get some pointers on how(if) I could set additional classes
on a client from within a custom hook.

Thankful for any input,
Wilhelm
