Do you mean by using a pg_service.conf file as described here? https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/libpq-pgservice.html I tried that earlier today in hopes that it could also address setting "target_session_attrs" that I mentioned in my other email, but the values in the file seem to be ignored...
