Just a naming-convention thought: svc-spellcheck should probably be svc-spellcheck-something, where the something indicates the specific implementation of the spellcheck service. I realize there is only one so far, but you never know :-)

I agree, and checked it into CVS as svc-spellchk-jazzy

Excellent. Having an example of how to put a service to work is very valuable.

Cool!

Just curious: Why did you need a custom tag? Was there something the current tags couldn't handle, or was it just a convenience?

Well, I wanted to continue the seperation of logic and html formatting, and I had a need to massage some text in order to create an input box/combination for each misspelled word. Struts didn't give me enough, so I felt a custom tag was the best approach (versus writing out code in the JSP itself). Let me know your thoughts.

I look forward to it! This is something I can put to use right away, so I can be a debugging resource instantly :-)

Wonderful!
