Do you have the same problem if you use slashes instead of backslashes?

This "d:/java/maven-repo" should work...

Well guys,
        It looks like the same problem I had with specifying an absolute
path within Keel, popped up in maven. Maybe it's a java/winXP problem. If I
specify my repo as d:\java\maven-repo\ it tries to create
%home%\d:\java\maven-repo.  This really sucks guys...but I'm going to be
getting a new system soon and this dinosaur will finally become what it
needs to be (a linux box) and everything will be peachy keen! I'm going to
google and see if that's a bug within the jdk or what?
