NEW DELHI: With margin of exporters rising owing to fall in the value of rupee, government today said the export incentives for all but textile sector will end by September-end.
"Export incentives for all sectors, excepting textiles, will lapse by the end of this month," Commerce Secretary G K Pillai told reporters here. Exporters have seen a windfall with rupee breaching the 46-mark against the US dollar for the first time in two years. The Finance Ministry had given sops exceeding Rs 8,000 crore when the rupee appreciated to 39-level last year, leading to distress for exporters. http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/News/Economy/Most_export_sops_to_end_by_this_month-end/articleshow/3490483.cms Credit is a system whereby a person who can't pay gets another person who can't pay to guarantee that he can pay. - Charles Dickens --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Kences1" group.
