Bihar Caustic & Chemicals announced a steep drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2008. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 26.94% to Rs 120.18 million from Rs 164.50 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 3.62% to Rs 498.51 million, while total income for the quarter rose 1.97% to Rs 507.23 million, when compared with the prior year period.
