*3i Infotech* reported a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2008. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 37.14% to Rs 270.20 million from Rs 197.02 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 6.13% to Rs 1,091.40 million, while total income for the quarter rose marginally 4.45% to Rs 1,130.60 million, when compared with the prior year period.
