With mobile operators increasingly becoming cost conscious due to the tough economic environment, telecom software solutions provider Subex has announced enhancing the capabilities of its data integrity management solution, TrueSource.
The new variant, TrueSource for Mobile, will help mobile operators improve operational efficiency and reduce the capital and operating expenditure, the company said on Tuesday. According to Subex, the new variant discovers mobile network elements across core, backhaul and radio access networks, and utilises the data to clean up physical and logical information in the inventory. This helps in the automation of key operational processes. "By maintaining integrity of data between the network and Operations and Business Support Systems (OSS/BSS), operators will be able to better understand how data inaccuracies are affecting operations and correct errors that drive up operational and capital costs.
