UTV Software Communications today said its consolidated net profit for the December quarter grew 29.55 per cent to Rs 29.90 crore over the corresponding period a year ago.
The media and entertainment firm had a consolidated net profit of Rs 23.08 crore in the December quarter last fiscal, UTV Software Communications said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange. The consolidated total revenues rose to Rs 160.19 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 123.53 crore last year. While, for the nine-month period ended December 31, 2008, the company registered a consolidated net profit of Rs 87.77 crore, a 76.49 per cent growth over the corresponding period last year.
